Summary
In this special Memorial Day broadcast - John celebrates American Asian Pacific Islander Month. In the first of a two part series he interviews Mia Ives-Rublee - a disabled transracial adoptee who has dedicated her life's work to civil rights activism and George Takei - an American actor, author, and activist. He is internationally known for his role as Hikaru Sulu, helmsman of the fictional starship USS Enterprise in the television series Star Trek. Finally he takes a call from Sally in Montana.
