Hey everybody welcome back to the Commission podcast by Bald Move, this little series

we've got going here. We got a really good one today. One of my favorites that we've

done so far. We're doing Memento. Who actually commissioned this?

This is the commissioner Andrew Mount. Oh yeah he is back again. I think this is

number four, the four-time club? Five-time. Something like that he holds the record I Club, five time. Something like that.

He holds the record, I know that.

Yeah.

Uh, yeah, so the Memento is a 2001 film, uh,

directed by Christopher Nolan,

that you probably know from Batman Begins trilogy, from, what is the prestige?

Prestige, inception.

Yeah, he's done a lot's done a lot of really mind-bending stuff.

Right, it was adapted into a screen play by Christopher Nolan based on a short story that

his brother Jonathan Nolan wrote called Memento Mori that has you know from what I could tell I haven't read it's got a very similar

plot engine and structure now this is going to be a weird Commission podcast because we're going to spend a few minutes just talking about what we think of the movie as far as our opinion of it.

And then we're going to get into hardcore spoilers. Normally we just kind of mix a match because most of the shows we've seen, you know, I've been out for a long time

which this one has, but this also is a very niche movie.

It only made $40 million at the box office.

It was kind of a, not a cult film, but more of an an art house film it didn't get a huge

release and also this movie you know I'm a spoiler agnostic person but this is one of the

few movies that I think the experience of watching it for the first time can easily be destroyed by having any information about the movie whatsoever.
