Less than four months ago, the British monarch's younger brother was known to us all as Prince Andrew.

Today came the news that Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, as he's now called, since his royal titles were stripped, has been arrested and taken into custody.

He's being held on suspicion of misconduct in public office.

It comes after an English police force that said it was assessing a complaint of the alleged

sharing of confidential material by the former prince with the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Mountbatten Windsor has denied all wrongdoing arising from his relationship with Epstein.

He hasn't responded to the BBC's requests for comment on any of the specific allegations

in relation to the release of millions of Epstein files last month.

As news of his arrest broke, so headlines were made around the world.
