Melissa Etheridge is one of rock music's great female icons.

Melissa found her love for music early on picking up a guitar at age 8, drumming until her fingers bled.

Melissa was writing songs by age 11 when she found her voice.

Known for her raspy vocals and confessional lyrics, Melissa has remained one of America's favorite

female singer-songwriters for more than three decades. With two Grammys and 15 nominations,
