Today we've come to one of those unusual passages

that most people just sort of scratch their heads and move on.

He's a mysterious old testament figure, but he provides an important picture

of Jesus' role as high priest and king.

His name is Mel Chesadeck.

Maybe you've heard of him, maybe not so much.

So let's discover what made him so important

as we open our Bibles to Hebrews chapter 5.
