0:23.1	My name is Blair, and today we're going to be talking about a highly requested topic,
0:27.2	the Melaleuca MLM, and we're also going to be talking about the CEO who runs it,
0:32.0	Frank L. Vanderslute.
0:33.8	And I don't know what it is about that name,
0:35.8	Vanderslute, but he sounds like a billionaire villain
0:38.3	from a kids movie.
0:39.2	But anyway, I'm gonna try and stick to a timeline here
0:41.9	between Vanderslute and Milleucahuka so you can get the idea of how they both grew together.
0:46.1	And that timeline is going to start in 1948.
0:48.9	So without any further eloquence, let's jump right into today's episode.
0:53.0	Vander's Lute was born on August 14th, 1948.
1:05.0	He lived on a farm in Idaho and began to save for college early on.
1:09.0	According to Forbes, he manned the farm's cream separator twice a day, turning it by hand to separate cream from milk.
1:15.3	His dad let him sell the excess cream not used by the family, netting him $2.50 per week.
1:20.7	He took jobs on neighboring farms too, building fences, putting up hay, and operating
1:25.2	tractors. As a teenager he joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, becoming a Mormon, and then graduated
1:31.8	from BYU in 1972 with a bachelor's in marketing.
1:35.4	Now Mormons and MLMs honestly do go hand in a lot of these videos but today isn't
1:41.4	about that I just thought it was interesting to
1:43.2	mention and it will be important later on. Now once van der Sloot graduated he was
