0:56.4	Greetings, everyone. Welcome to our time together, turning for guidance to the
1:10.1	christian mystic mysterachar. In this session, I want to begin by refining our reflections on a theme
1:18.4	we've already begun to explore in mysterachar's teachings, namely what it means to be real.
1:26.8	And that car is saying that to be real in the fullest possible sense is to be the infinity of
1:36.0	reality itself. And if we define or understand reality in this sense, then only God is real.
1:46.0	God is that by which we are. We are by virtue of our existence and God's the infinity of existence.
1:53.6	So reality is understood in this way. Then we as creatures of God of ourselves are nothing.
2:06.9	Because we have no reality of ourself. That we saw in the act of creation, what creation is,
2:15.2	is God's infinite presence, presencing itself, and giving itself away in and as the grace and the
2:26.0	miracle of the very reality of ourself, the reality of others, the reality of all things,
2:33.2	in our eternal nothingness without God. So in some sense, then God's self-donating love,
2:40.4	the gloss and height, the pouring out of the generosity of God, that we are the generosity of God.
2:47.1	The God's very presence is the gift and the miracle of our very presence,
2:52.1	inner nothingness without God. And this for Eckhart is the riddle that lies kind of at the heart
2:56.6	of the mystery of our existence, of our reality. And so to quote from mysterachart
