U.S. debt exceeds 100% of GDP.

I am not an economist by any strict of the imagination, but I know it's bad when you have more debt than you have money coming in.

Feels bad. I would not like that to be my bank account, personally.

I don't know if you know about this, but there was a guy, the richest guy in the world. His name is Elon Musk.

And he told me that he was going to and waste, fraud, and abuse,

and he was going to do that in such a way that he would cut our national debt, which was our huge

crisis, but we're a year and a half into the Trump presidency, and all we're seeing is

spending. You know, I heard this thing about conservatives, that they're the fiscally responsible

ones, but this happens every time they're elected. I don't understand it, Molly.

The national debt is now larger than the U.S. economy, about twice the historic average.

We've heard plenty of alarm bells in the past few years about our fiscal path.

And it's funny because I was told that Russ Vaught, Mr. Russ Vaught, the head of OMB.

Mr. Red Lines, he's going to zero out that budget. Zero it out.
