But I wanted to start off this episode by talking about celebrity culture and influence, right?

In the past 72 hours, we're all talking about Billy Elish, all these losers at the Grammys.

And I think more than ever, these celebrities in Hollywood are grappling with the fact nobody cares anymore, right?

We saw this in 2016. We saw it in 2020. We saw it in 2024. These celebrities, every four

years, they think their voices really matter. But they don't realize they're just patting themselves

on the back. When I watched the Grammys, it was like a loser convention, a loser convention

where they get up on stage, they had their little talking points about ice, and then they get in their cars and go back to their gated communities and their mansions. And that's how I felt watching Billy Elish. But it's not just Billy Elish, who I would say is down the totem pole, right? It's people at the top like Michelle Obama. Michelle Obama, she is more out of touch with working class Americans than almost anybody I know. And she's supposed to be the girl from the south side of Chicago who pulled herself up by the bootstraps, right?

She's supposed to be relatable, Michelle Obama. Nobody can relate to her.

Even the women who used to love her in 2008, 2012, 2016, they're like, what happened?

She complains about her hair, her makeup, how hard it was being first lady, the fact that she had to pay to fly on a private jet and pay for her own food. These people don't understand what the forgotten men and women of this country are going through. And so when I see someone like Billy Elish at the Grammys saying we're all living on stolen lands and we should just let illegal criminals into the country, it's rich

coming from her because she lives in a Hollywood enclave in a $14 million mansion. So from the top

down, it's Michelle Obama all the way down to Billy Elish and then the influencers and the people

who follow them. But these celebrities, nobody cares anymore, right? Every celebrity, every celebrity endorsed Kamala Harris.

Do you guys remember that?

Every celebrity on earth came out and endorsed Kamala Harris.

What was it?

Katie Perry, Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Lizzo.

I think Lizzo showed up because there was free food, but nonetheless.

Every celebrity came out and endorsed Kamala Harris. And guess what? She lost the popular vote in every single swing state in a landslide. She lost and got her ass handed to her. And so these celebrities, I think they're grappling with their mortality in the industry. They believe that, oh, if they have 100 million followers, everybody is on the edge of their seats. A lot of those followers, I don't even think they're real, right?
