Today we're starting on a bit of a heavier topic. As many of you probably know, Jess Carter from the England women's national team shared that she was experiencing abuse and racism in the wake of their matches. And, you know, I know on behalf

of Tobin and I were both exhausted of this, furious about this, and just saddened by it. And somehow,

after all these instances, it still feels shocking. I think I'm just an optimistic person and I

think the world needs to get better and it will. It feels like this is just another spin of the

same record. We've been here before. The racism that has been on display regarding English football

for many years is outrageous.

Yeah.

Why does it always fall on the players to feel like the players almost have to protect

themselves and protect their peers?

Like, I'm just, they're in one of the biggest tournaments of their life and these governing bodies that are set up to protect and represent the players are just, they're almost non-existent in these cases.

And the things that they have implemented seem like we're just continuing to go through the motions so that we're even saying racism

and it's almost like people aren't even feeling anything.
