Today an outtake from episode 627, my conversation with author and poet Megan Fernandez.

It first aired on March 1st, 2020. Megan is the author of several books,

including The Kingdom and After, which was published by Tightrope Books in 2015. Another one

called Good Boys. That was published by Tin House back in 2020. And most recently, she authored a poetry

collection entitled, I Do Everything I'm Told. This one is also available from Tin House. It was

published to wide acclaim this past summer. Megan's work has appeared all over the place, including the New Yorker

magazine, The American Poetry Review, Plowshares, Guernica, McSweeney's, and elsewhere. She is an

associate professor of English and the writer-in-residence at Lafayette College. An outtake from episode 627, my conversation with
