Of course, we could say much in answer.

We could say that Cain murdered Abel, that his blood cried out to God from the ground.

We could say that Cain went on to build the first city named Enoch in an unknown land.

We could say that Seth reinstituted the righteous line of God's people from Adam and that

his descendants began to call upon the name of the Lord. But we would be remiss if we did not say

that somehow and somewhere along the line,
