And I might argue maybe NFL history.

I don't know if there's ever been a day in June where the NFL saw two blockbuster

trades that involve three players, 12 Pro Bowl selections, five draft picks, including two first round picks, all dealt on the first day of June.

It was June day unlike any other.

I think it goes down in NFL history, and there is a lot to cover with a lot of teams

and a lot of players, and that's why we're joined tonight

I mean, just break down how this happened. I'm still trying to wrap my head around this. I can't

believe that barring a physical, it's actually done. Well, let's start with the Rams acquisition

of Miles Garrett tie.

And I will go back to a conversation that I had in late March when I got a call from an executive on another team.

And he said to me, are you aware of Miles Garrett restructuring his contract and pushing back the option bonuses from the 15th day of the league

year, which is in mid-March or late March, to the week before the regular season opener.

Now, what that means is the team does not have to pay the bonus until the week before the season

begins, which gives them more time during the off season

to potentially trade him before the acquiring team would have to pay the option bonus
