Hi, everyone. Thanks for joining us. I'm Jasmine Clark. I'm Amanda Weinstein. I'm Rachel

Vindman. And you're listening to The Suburban Women Problem. This week, Red Wine and Blue announced some

exciting news. We're expanding our on-the-ground organizing into the state of Virginia,

and we're not just going in for one election. We're going to have organizers on the ground

year-round. Two years ago, we talked about Glenn Yonkin and how he used fears about critical

race theory to win the governor's race in Virginia, and schools have been at the center of this

drummed-up culture war ever since. So I'm excited to see the good work that we're about to do in

Virginia. I got the chance to talk to Penny Blue, Red Wine and Blue's new program director in Virginia,

and before that, we'll be joined by Julie Shepard, a mom in Virginia who's been an advocate

for her school board and for military families.

But before we get into all that, what have we been seeing in the news and what's been going on in our group chat?

Well, I think most people in the country are having a better week than Donald Trump this week.
