Let's go back to 2021 for a second. Like a lot of people, Jane August was stuck at home.

She lives in New York City and works in live music and she was furloughed.

She had watched seemingly every movie ever made and was dying to get out of the house.

A lot of us took up hobbies during this period, right?

Like running, knitting, of course, who can forget the sourdough?

But Jane decided to channel her energy into a different project.

She decided to visit every single museum in New York City.

Which is kind of a big deal because there are about 200 museums in New York City.

Jane is documenting this project on her TikTok account at Jane August.

How many museums have you been to so far?

As of this conversation, I've been to 151 New York City Museums across the five boroughs.

Wow.

And I thought, this is something that I can definitely accomplish in like the next few years.

And we're about five years into this now.

And I think I'm 75% done, though.

There really wasn't a lot of thinking and planning and plotting.
