Summary

Acts 7:58-8:3 - Then they cast him out of the city and stoned him. And the witnesses laid down their garments at the feet of a young man named Saul. 59 And as they were stoning Stephen, he called out, “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.” 60 And falling to his knees he cried out with a loud voice, “Lord, do not hold this sin against them.” And when he had said this, he fell asleep. And Saul approved of his execution.
And there arose on that day a great persecution against the church in Jerusalem, and they were all scattered throughout the regions of Judea and Samaria, except the apostles. 2 Devout men buried Stephen and made great lamentation over him. 3 But Saul was ravaging the church, and entering house after house, he dragged off men and women and committed them to prison.

0:12.4	next chapter of the book of Acts today, Acts chapter 8. But before we get there
0:17.1	I want to highlight the new benevolence platform that we've been able to

0:47.6	Now that the COVID thing has come about we have a single mother with two
0:51.6	boys who's a cancer survivor who needs some help. We have a recovering drug
0:55.4	addict who needs to pay off some bills as he recovers and as he grows closer
0:59.7	to the Lord. We have a former flight attendant who's been laying off.
1:03.4	We have a family needing help with home repairs. We have a husband and a wife who
1:07.3	have lost their jobs because of the pandemic. My friends there are so many
1:10.9	brothers and sisters in need out there and as we get these needs met we
1:16.1	will be putting future needs on the website. You have an opportunity to come and
1:20.4	pay a little bit that will go a long way toward helping the needs of these
