One day after, Speaker McCarthy announced an impeachment inquiry against President Biden,

and 17 days before the government runs out of money.

If McCarthy thought that the impeachment announcement would somehow strengthen his hand

inside his unruly conference, well, that hasn't happened yet.

So far, things appear just as unruly around McCarthy as ever.

As far as impeachment inquiries go, the evidence of presidential wrongdoing here is pretty

thin at the moment.

And some Republicans agree.
