manhunt ended with the arrest of the alleged assassin who shot and killed a conservative activist

Authorities confirming this morning that 22-year-old Tyler Robinson had been taken into custody,

there's his mugshot, after being turned in to authorities by a family member.

Now, the arrest came just hours after the FBI released new video of the alleged gunman

jumping down from a rooftop after the shooting, along with additional photos taken around the

same time. Authorities St. Robinson is a Utah resident with no known prior criminal record and was

not a student at the university. Authority is also saying that according to his family, he'd become more political in recent years.

President Trump first announced the arrest during a Fox News appearance, which Utah Governor Spencer

state charges, including aggravated murder. Those charges are expected to come early next week.
