Where after 21 days in court and more than 80 hours of testimony,

the fate of Donald Trump will soon be in the hands of 12 jurors.

Right now, court is on a short break.

The prosecution is in the middle of its closing argument

in the former president's hush money trial.

The district attorney's office hopes to convince the jury that Donald Trump tried to influence the 2016 election

by hiding hush money payments

to adult film star Stormy Daniels.

So far in his closing argument,

prosecutor Joshua Steinglass acknowledged

Michael Cohen's credibility issues.

He told jurors, quote, we didn't pick him up

at the witness store, but Steinglass

is imploring the jury to remember

that this case is about Donald Trump and not Michael Cohen. the that the story of her alleged affair was the motive

outlined in this case.

That comes in response to Donald Trump's attorney,

Todd Blanche, who has delivered his closing arguments,

speaking for nearly three hours earlier today.

Blanche presented jurors with what he said were 10 reasons why they should have reasonable

doubt in the case, telling jurors that the prosecution did not meet its burden of proof.
