I'm Kristen Welker in Washington, where the White House is escalating its attacks on the judicial branch as it faces new legal setbacks in a number of cases and a strong rebuke from the chief justice of the Supreme Court.

maligning them as activists who are trying to usurp presidential authority and derail the president's sweeping agenda.
