We begin with breaking news out of Perry, Iowa, where law enforcement officials and the governor

are holding a press conference right now after a shooter opened fire at a high school

earlier this morning injuring at least two students and a school administrator.

Let's listen into the governor.

I can say safe lives.

The response was tremendous and we're extremely grateful. The full

resources of the state government will be available to assist in the

response and of course the community's recovery from this tragic

event.

The mental health region has social workers that are embedded in the school district and will

provide counseling services for the students, the families, and the staff.
