Market surging after Iran declared the Strait of Formuz is now open to all commercial vessels.

Tehran saying it made that decision because of the new ceasefire deal reached between Israel and Lebanon.

Oil prices also dropping more than 10 percent compared to just yesterday on hopes that the energy crisis caused by the war could be coming to an end.

President Trump celebrating the news in a post on social media this morning, but saying the U.S. naval blockade of Iran's ports will remain in full effect until the U.S. and Iran reach a final peace deal.

A senior Iranian official telling state TV that

naval vessels are still prohibited from passing through the Strait of Hormuz and insisting

non-military vessels could only pass through routes designated by Iran. Yesterday, even before this

new announcement by Tehran, President Trump expressing optimism that the war

will be ending soon and downplaying the spike in oil and gas prices as, quote, fake inflation.

The war in Iran is going along swimmingly. We can do whatever we want.

And it should be, it should be ending pretty soon.

It was perfect.

I mean, it's perfect.

We had to do a little journey down to Iran.

And I didn't want to do that, but we had to because we can't let them have a nuclear weapon.

Now, remember, the ceasefire agreement between the U.S. and Iran is set to expire in just

four days with major questions about whether the two sides will be able to reach a final

deal in time, particularly when it comes to Iran's enriched uranium stockpile.
