Series Symposium. The annual event is a roundtable discussion with the directors nominated

for the Guild's Award for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Movies for Television and

limited series. On January 30th, David LeVoe and Alex Rajinsky, the director and live television director

of Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert, Ben Stiller, the director of Escape at Danamora,

and Jean-Marc Valet, the director of Sharp Objects, all gathered at the DGA Theater

in Los Angeles to discuss the making of their films with moderator

Mike Robe.

Nominees Carrie Joji Fukunaga, the director of Maniac, and Barry Levinson, the director of

Paterno, were not available to participate.
