All right, welcome to meet the nation Monday. This is every Monday show. We meet some one who likes 10 Jack miles podcast or whatever reason and we get to know them a little bit by asking them some questions.

And today we're going to talk to our really good friend Art Arnold. He's been a meet the listener a couple times. Big time front of the show been around forever. So here we go. Art Arnold.

I think he's going to do really good on trivia too.

Well, good morning. Arnold on the hot seat today.

Are you nervous?

I'm still waking up. So it's perfect.

The long run episode of you will not come out for at least three more weeks. So people are saying more of him. They're going to hear this and they're going to be like, oh, I wish we would do have a long run with him because he's so fascinating.

Okay, just FYI. I think I'm really fascinating. So that's awesome. Of course, of course. All right. So where am I calling? Where are you located?

I am located in Redlands, California, which is about I'm about an hour and 15 minutes to do east of Los Angeles up against the mountains.

And what do you do for work out there?

I am I work in an ER out here a smaller ER. I'm what they call a unit secretary monitor tech.

I handle all the phone calls in and out getting a hold of specialists for doctors in my ER. And then I also am keeping track of any of our really super sick patients.

I'm sure everybody has seen it on the movies where they've got the little squiggly lines going on in the little machine behind the patients and stuff.

Well, there's usually a more central type situation where I help keep track of those patients for the nurses involved that are taking care of the patient.

Code blue code blue. Do you do that?

Exactly. Well, yesterday we had a patient that also started to crash on us and I was the first one who saw it on the monitors and started yelling for somebody to get in there.

So yeah.

Tell us your little short little running story.

You know, where'd you come from? Where you at now, etc.

It's funny because my running story is kind of all over the place, but I ran my first marathon back in the 80s.
