Boom. Well, for better or worse, I have a lot of free time on my hands these days. So no problem. Well, so let's talk about that. Where are you? Where are you calling from? Where are you?

Sure. Well, I'm in Harlem in the Netherlands. That's the other Harlem. The one the district in New York is named after.

It's originally a Dutch town near Amsterdam. Nice place. But I'm originally from Ireland. So Dublin are over in the Netherlands right now.

When you sent me this email a year ago, were you living in Ireland or the Netherlands? No, I was in the Netherlands. I've been here for five years now and it did three years in Germany before that.

So most of my twenties have been abroad and yeah, no plans to leave just yet. It's a nice little country here. Are there a lot of time job miles fans in the Netherlands?

I've encountered a few, but only my trail running buddies and typically like the Netherlands, as the name suggests, Netherlands low lands. There's not a lot of inclining trails here, but we do our best.

And I've encountered a couple. There was one guy I went on a group run with. I'd never met before. And I think I made some reference. Some niche 10 junk miles in joke that he got and it was like, okay, now we're best friends. I didn't know you before, but you're good.
