there are families you're born into and ones you make there's a family you know and

the strange and alien one that you're forced into for love and sometimes and the Mibramway, a Park Ranger in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Varunga National Park.

Normally when you meet the family it's not this hard. First it's not

Oh yeah and then there are armed rebels roaming through here and poachers.

Nearly 150 Park Rangers have been killed in combat.

One was killed in a gun fight with rebels just the week before I arrived.

That's why the Rangers guiding me through the forest are armed with a K-47s.

Vines wrap around my ankles as if they are alive.
