Hey, everybody. This is Pete Warner coming to you from the lobby of the dreams building appropriately enough at the Disney Land Hotel and I'm joined tonight by two of our three new Disney Land correspondence here on the show Wendy Bell and Tony Spatel. I just realized your name's rhyme.

0:19.5

Unfortunately, Nancy Johnson couldn't join us for the recording session tonight. She had to leave early, but Nancy is the other Disney Land correspondent that we have for the show and we're also joined by Mary Jo Malato-Wiley, who is one of our Disney Land, who is a moderator on our Disney Land Forum on Disboards.com.

And of course, Scar-2. And I guess I'll use this opportunity to explain why we're calling him Scar-2. Everybody's been wondering, or a few people have emailed me wondering why on my Facebook page this trip I've been referring to him as Scar-2.

0:59.5

He was given the name Scar after his appendectomy and then a few weeks ago his bird, I think you've heard us talk about his bird Gracie. He's got an umbrella cockatoo named Gracie. And umbrella cockatoo is for anybody who's familiar with them are very territorial and they view their owners as their mate.

And Walter started wearing his glasses, his cat glasses, his catwoman glasses. He's been wearing them more frequently. And Gracie has decided she does not want him changing his appearance. Apparently she's under the impression that by changing his appearance he is looking for another mate.

1:43.5

So Gracie actually attacked Walter a few weeks ago, jumped up, literally bit him on the lip, and required four stitches to his lip. So he now has a scar on his lip, hence Scar-2.

So I just wanted to get that little bit cleared up. We're going to talk a little bit to Wendy and to Tony so they can introduce themselves to us, tell them more about themselves. We want to start with you, Wendy. Why don't you just tell us about yourself and what you like about Disneyland?

2:22.5

Okay, well, I've been going to Disneyland since I was a child. It's one of my favorite places to go. I live about 15 minutes from the park, so I have season passes. It's just a fun place to go on a Friday night or whatever we have time for it. For me, it's just seeing all the attractions over and over again. I can do it's a small world every time I come.

2:45.5

But I've been going for so much longer, and I'm so glad to be on the show. It's going to be interesting and fun, so I'm glad to be here.

2:53.5

I'm Tony Spatel, and I've been a podcast listener for a while now, and I just wanted to let everybody know those of you that listen to the podcasts, but don't necessarily go on the boards, you have a champion in me.

3:06.5

Because I am your new podcast person. They pick me, and I'm really excited. I have a wife and a child, a seven-year-old child, and we love going to Disneyland because it's great family entertainment.

3:21.5

We live about 10 minutes away, and we're both teachers, so sometimes we'll go right after school, but it's a place where my wife, myself, and my son can all enjoy something together that we know is family oriented,

3:35.5

and it's fun for all of us, not just for the son, not just for the wife, not just for the husband, but for all of us.

3:42.5

Cool. Now, Mary Jo, why don't you tell everybody a little bit about yourself?

3:47.5

Okay, my name is Mary Jo Molotto-Willy, and I am, as Pete said, a moderator in the Disneyland board, and I've been going to Disneyland since the early 60s.

3:59.5

And, darn it. And I have had an annual pass since I believe 1995, so every year my children I spend our days at the Disneyland Resort now.

4:13.5

And my daughter and I come more often, and what we like to do is she calls it Dinner's Show, come and watch Dinner and watch the fireworks from the Plaza Inn, and maybe take in a couple of rides and people watch when we come.

4:28.5

But we just, like the rest of the people here, just love Disneyland and sharing our experiences with everybody.

4:36.5

Cool. Now, we're obviously, we're out here doing our bi-yearly content trip, and we've been dealing a lot with the rain this week.

4:51.5

One of the things that has been the bane of my existence, because we got here Wednesday, this is Sunday night that we're recording this, and Wednesday we had great weather.

5:01.5

The day we got in the town, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and today it has rained.

5:07.5

So, talking to my Disneyland experts, what would you say, I'm going to put you all in the spot here, rainy day activities.
