It's official, Cardinal Robert Prevost is the new Pope.

He's the first pontiff, a high-ranking religious leader from the United States and has chosen the name Pope Leo the 14th.

One of the first acts of the new pope is selecting a new name, which traditionally differs from their baptismal name.

If I became Pope and chose a new name,

it would be something cool, like Pope Roblox or Pope Thor the 15th. The winning vote came on the

second day of the papal election process, otherwise known as the conclave. And crowds cheered from

St. Peter Square as the white smoke rose from the chimney of the

Sistine Chapel. Pope Leo the 14th was born in Chicago in 1955 to parents of Spanish and Franco-Italian descent.

The Pope Leo is originally from Chicago, which leads me to believe that he's probably eaten more hot dogs
