Being a woman holds so many stories, just like a diamond, so many facets.

We are storytellers passing down the knowledge that our mothers taught us and their mothers

taught them.

We are lovers, we are friends.

We are sometimes mothers and sometimes not.

We hold secrets and we hold truths.

During an interaction with my patron group, I asked, what does it mean to be a woman?

Here are some of their answers.

Being a woman is having the capability to create life and being expected to continue on as

the person you were before your baby's lived when you were anything but that person anymore.

Being the one to notice things, to see the dirty dishes, the laundry everywhere and the

dirt on the floor and having to do something about it.

The one always thinking five steps ahead of everyone else and not being able to ignore

what needs to be done, at least for me that is.

Being a woman is a boss.

In some men's eyes we are weak, but surprise we are tougher than nails.

We keep laugh together for our friends and family.

We can do hard things.
