And as we started, I'm just interested, what got you interested in writing about the personal

side of finance because you've also managed a hedge fund?

So you know, you have a foot in both worlds. Why do you keep coming back to this

subject? You know it's a real interesting question because a lot of people who write about

finance they write about oh this is what's happening in the economy or Apple stock is a buy today

and they go on c and b c and b c and b c and b c here's why you should buy apple and that's how I kind of started writing professionally, but then I realized kind of like around 2009, 2010, no one really cares about that. Like, okay, maybe there's a few people who should I buy apple today, like, what's going on?

And but what people really care about is what's happening in their lives and their lives are more complicated than a stock going up or down and most of the time.
