0:33.0 | Become aware of this body breathing. |
0:43.0 | Begin to extend the in-breath, lengthening and deepening so that you're filling the whole chest and lung. |
0:54.0 | So, breathing in, deep in breath and a slow out breath. Slowly releasing, letting go, letting go. |
1:11.0 | And again, a deep full in-breath, expanding the chest, filling the lungs. |
1:23.0 | And a slow out breath, evenly, smoothly releasing. |
1:28.0 | So, you can feel the sensations of the breath as you exhale. |
1:37.0 | Long, deep full in-breath, you might begin counting with the in-breath to six counts. |
1:47.0 | And matching the out breath, six counts out. |
1:52.0 | And if that feels like too long, it's quite fine to do four counts, but let the in-breath and out-breath be matched. |
2:03.0 | Continuing in this way. |
2:16.0 | Since with the in-breath and opening to receive a yielding to the breath, and with the out-breath |
2:31.0 | releasing, letting go, relaxing outward. |
3:01.0 | Continuing with this long, deep in-breath, slow out breath. |
3:22.0 | You might find that as you're breathing, you can bring a slight smile to the mouth and soften the eyes. |
3:52.0 | And if the mind wanders, you notice you've lost track of the breathing. |
4:07.0 | Just gently come back again, begin again. |
4:22.0 | You might sense with the in-breath how much is possible to soften and open and receive. |
4:52.0 | And with the out breath how much is possible to release as if you're following the breath out into the space around you, relaxing outward, letting go. |
5:22.0 | Continuing with this full in-breath and full out-breath. |
