Summary
Meditation: Refuge in Living Presence (2018-08-01) - We spend great swaths of time in a trance that removes us from awareness of our body and senses. This meditation reconnects us by scanning through the body, including sounds and then resting in the field of awareness and aliveness. We practice relaxing and gently arriving again when thoughts carry us away; learning the pathway home to living presence.

| 0:30.0 | As you come into stillness, become aware of this body sitting here breathing. |
| 0:54.0 | And sense the movement of the breath of the heart as if you could be breathing in and out of the heart. |
| 1:12.0 | We begin in a simple way sensing our intention. |
| 1:20.0 | What really brings you here to meditate, to gather as community, whether it's geographically right here, or more of a in the field in the cloud community. |
| 1:38.0 | To feel what draws you to practice, to this path of presence of heart. |
| 1:58.0 | What's your intention right now for this sitting, for this time together, what really matters to you. |
| 2:22.0 | Listening in order to where you feel most sincere. |
| 2:40.0 | Imagining an open blue sky, extending in all directions. |
| 2:52.0 | And sensing that sky filled with the curve of a smile, that kind of upliftment, that receptivity. |
| 3:12.0 | And imagine your mind merging with that sky. |
| 3:16.0 | So your mind is filled with that smile, with the feeling and the sense and the image of that smile. |
| 3:40.0 | And sense the same image and felt sense of a smile spreading through the eyes. |
| 3:50.0 | The outer corners lifted a little, the eyes soft, the brows smooth. |
| 4:02.0 | And notice the aliveness and the whole region of the brow as you relax and sense the space of a smile. |
| 4:22.0 | Allow a slight smile spread on the lips and feel that smile at the inside of your mouth. |
| 4:38.0 | Relaxing the tongue right down to the root. |
| 4:48.0 | And sense the image and sense of a smile allows the mouth to fill with aliveness. |
| 4:58.0 | Gums teeth tongue lips. |
| 5:08.0 | Allow the shoulders to fall away from the neck. |
| 5:26.0 | Sense the shoulders is filled with awareness. So you feel them from the inside. |
