Meditation: From Head to Full Being (2021-04-28) - When we are lost inside thoughts we lose connection with our heart, aliveness and spirit. This meditation guides us to a wakeful presence and invites us to return over and over from virtual reality into the mysterious, tender vastness that is our true being.

0:54.0 | Make some moments, find the posture that most supports you. |
1:10.0 | As at ease as possible, also awake. |
1:18.0 | And as you come into stillness, you might collect your attention a bit with your breath, |
1:26.0 | lengthening the in-breath to a count of four or five, so breathing in, |
1:36.0 | and then a slow out breath, matching the out-breath to the in-breath, count of four or five, releasing the breath. |
1:47.0 | And again, a long deep in breath. |
1:55.0 | Slow, smooth out breath, even out breath. |
1:59.0 | Letting go, letting go. |
2:03.0 | And again, inhaling very consciously, slowly bringing in the breath, filling the chest and the lungs. |
2:13.0 | And that slow out breath, releasing the sensation of letting go, letting go. |
2:23.0 | And again, inhaling deeply. |
2:30.0 | Slow out breath, softening down the length of the body, letting go, letting go. |
2:39.0 | And then letting the breath resume in its natural rhythm, observing and feeling the breath, just as it is. |
2:53.0 | Noticing the quality of presence that grows with just a little bit of conscious attention. |
3:09.0 | And you can deepen that presence as you establish awareness throughout the body. |
3:16.0 | You might begin with the crown of the head and the scalp and the skull, just sense if you can feel an aliveness or tingling there. |
3:28.0 | And letting the attention flow down across the brow, smooth in the brow, relaxing and softening the eyes. |
3:40.0 | You might sense a slight smile at the mouth, let all the little micro muscles in the face smooth out. |
3:55.0 | Feeling the inside of the mouth smiling, letting the tongue fill the lower palate. |
