My name is Brooke McCallory and thank you very much for joining me and it is actually just me today.

I'm flying solo for the next three Monday episodes. The reason for that is, well, essentially, I've roped in a friend to help out

So Kevin Jenks is from Centred Meditation in Sydney,

with him talking about meditation and his personal journey, but also answering a lot of

the most common questions about meditation. And he also took us through a short mini meditation

at the end of the last episode he did. But what I realized after I spoke to

Kevin last time was that my personal journey of learning and understanding meditation was

probably hampered by the fact that I didn't, I didn't study it so much as downloaded a few

apps and kind of found what I enjoyed in meditation. And that

was fine. And I think I've really found my groove over time. But I believe that had I taken a bit

of time and learnt from an expert just to get those basic foundational ideas and skills in place

before going on and, you know,

practicing in ways that suited me. I think I probably would have, would have progressed maybe

or come to an understanding a lot more quickly than I did. So what I've done is essentially

worked with Kevin to design three mini meditation workshops.
