The Trump administration will boost 27 Medicare Advantage payments by just under 2.5%, a $13 billion increase that

exceeded expectations and has sent insurer's stock soaring. The dramatic increase comes after a preliminary

proposal, which held

the line on payments drew fierce criticism from the industry and torpedoed shares of the largest

companies. A lucrative billing practice is being eliminated, however, by requiring the

diagnoses be linked to specific medical services, a new rule that aims to prevent insurers from receiving

payments for medical chart reviews that lack an associated doctor visit. Bill Ackman's

Pershing Square Capital is offering to buy Universal Music Group, whose roster includes the likes of
