Donald Trump loves a good fight.

His whole theory, his whole career, certainly his first term as president, and in this past

campaign, is you've got to be on offense.

You've got to dictate the terms. You've got to dictate the terms.

You've got to get the media to cover what you want to talk about.

And in the first few days after this stunning victory, he rolled out a lot of potential nominees who seemed pretty solid.

And I credited him for that, right?

Marco Rubio, Secretary of State.

And picking, you know, current and former members of Congress,

seasoned experienced people, not bomb throwers,

whether it's

Lee Zeldin

for the EPA,

whether it's South Dakota Governor

Christy Knoam for Homeland Security,

and you can go down the list.

And so I think a lot of people were saying, you know, this is a pretty serious potential governing team.

And then it's now all exploded in controversy.
