So we wanted to begin this show just by talking about the crazy protests and the revolution

that's happening in Egypt, totally out of the blue, I mean seemingly for the outside world,

it just kind of

erupted. We had the Tunisian revolts going on and then all the sudden just Egypt, it seemed

like overnight all of this just went down. It's been what a week and a day as we're

broadcasting this since everything started. Right now, over 300 people are dead,

over 600 are injured, who knows, that was last night's toll, but we just saw a bunch of videos

of military cars running people over, and there's all these provocateur groups out there

and throwing rocks with knives and weapons, And so I don't know the update on

that, but it's just really, really crazy. Yeah, the whole thing is very interesting to me from the

point of view, the way the United States and the Western media is framing it. The Obama

administration has been extremely lukewarm and trying to reach out to the protesters.

They're simultaneously saying that Mubarak is a good friend and ally. I mean, people have been
