Senator, we first obviously have to deal with the fact that yet again, Donald Trump's being

charged and arraigned on more charges against him.

I want to get your reaction to that before we do a deep dive into the Devon Archer testimony

before Congress.

Well, this week is a huge week in terms of developments for the rule of law, developments

for Joe Biden, developments for Hunter Biden and developments for Donald Trump.

This week, obviously, Donald Trump was indicted yet again, a third time by special counsel

Jack Smith.

It is indictment that I believe is a political indictment.

It is the latest manifestation of the politicization of the Department of Justice where the Democrats

every time there are bad developments about Joe Biden, about Hunter Biden, they immediately

turn around and try to overtake the news cycle with yet another attack on Donald Trump.

It is doing severe damage to the integrity of the Department of Justice and listen actually

yesterday, one of Trump's lawyers outside the courtroom expressed it really powerfully,

the shameless timing of each of these indictments.
