Well, first of all, my role is to call balls and strikes and to give a voice to half or more than half or even sometimes like 80% of the country on the issues of the day.

I think what CNN is doing in particular with the 10 o'clock show.

It's a real debating show, and you're putting people at the table who have diverse viewpoints,

including conservative viewpoints.

I think our commitment to that, honestly, is good for American political discourse.

And my job is to robustly participate in that and give a whole bunch of people out there who thought

maybe the mainstream media was ignoring them or didn't care what they thought, somebody

to represent, authentically represent their values.
