anxiety sur rising and they really really are rising and they really really are

like insanely this week i know i know there are many many things that are making us all nervous

but you know my job here is to pinpoint the things that are making the meat industry

nervous, hopefully us, and indeed, you will hear that we still, we can still upset them.

It is true.

But also, you know, some of the things that are making us nervous about them, which is pretty

much everything they do, like murdering all the animals. And welcome. Don't forget to listen to our other

animal law podcast interview, which is going to be very exciting. I'll tell you about that

at the end. But right now I want to get into these articles because I'm actually doing two articles on the same report. The first is from De Smog, which is a, you know, a news site that you might be familiar with. It mostly reports progressively

on environmental issues, but this week it's talking about us. This is an article by Claire

Carlisle revealed chilling surveillance of activists by meat and dairy industry. The Animal

Agriculture Alliance, which briefs the FBI,

has tracked over 2,400 individuals linked to animal welfare and environmental groups.

And I know you already know some of this, and we've talked about some of this.

But this really ties it all together and really shows that, you know, it's not just us who's

paying attention to this. It's also, at least people in the environmental movement are also very nervous about this,

which, you know, is really a good sign.

She starts by mentioning that the meat industry has, of course, engaged in, quote, intrusive

surveillance of animal rights groups, and that this includes monitoring

relationships between activists and tracking employees of leading charities.
