So take charge of it and make good decisions for yourself.

I guess this week has given me such great inspiration for working hard, doing well and just being a real positive force in our world.

The window for success felt like it was narrowing as I finished graduate school when I'd expected the opposite.

Plus, at the time the three main networks all were anchored by the same three men I'd been watching since I was a kid.

How could I get ahead? I started to question my choices.

Maybe my plan was wrong, which was a hard pill to swallow since I'd taken out quite a hefty student loan to pay for graduate school.

Lesson alert number three.

Changing course is to be expected not avoided. Embrace the change.
