And, you know, people have asked me many times to rate the best announcers of all time, not just the WWF.

And I always say, you know, there's Gene Okerland and then there's the rest of us.

You don't put anybody else in order behind him.

And no one compares.

And with that, I want to welcome my long time, close personal

friend, WWE Hall of Famer, Mean Gene O'Keeleland. Gene, thanks so much for joining us this

morning here on Primetime. You know, Mooney, it's pretty tough for me to follow that intro.

And you're talking about some of the accomplishments that I've had on the microphone, on the

announcing side of our business, but I always kind of categorized everybody, you know, the play-by-play

guys, the utility guys, the color guys, and then there were the interview guys, and that's kind of a lost art today.

Oh, no kidding.

You just don't have that many pure interviews where you're shooting from the hip.

Yeah, they're scripted and kind of a canned, but I find those really quite boring.

I like that when you could fly by the seat of your pants with guys like Savage and

Flair, and of course, Hulk Hogan.

Andre was a little tough, but that's another thing.

That's another story, which we will get into as we go here.

But, you know, I said my longtime, close personal friend, before we get into, where did that come from?

I mean, it's kind of your signature.

But do you remember when you first coined that?

I would have to say that's got to be probably back in the 80s when we were moving forth with,
