So, my friends, this is one of our last shows of the year. So I thought that I'd do something a little different for you

and track what news stories that most affected our politics and the American public in

2022. So let's start. Early in January of 2022, we got a sign that not all was right in the tech

industry when Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes was found guilty of defrauding investors in her blood testing

company and was eventually sentenced to 11 years in prison.

Interestingly enough, Apple's stock prices peaked in January, but it was the beginning of the

end as inflation accelerated and interest rates climbed.

In late January, we were introduced to the Omicron variant of the COVID virus.

I mean, let's talk about good times.

We had the Olympics in Beijing, China, and the Los Angeles Rams came from behind to win the Super Bowl.

Go, go, go, go, go, show, it's silver. We're going to party like it's silver. to win the Super Bowl. In a landmark in a
