My Lord and my God, I firmly believe that you are here, that you see me, that you hear me.

I adore you with profound reverence.

I ask your pardon for my sins and the grace to make this time of prayer fruitful.

I don't know if you have ever been in a car accident.

I wasn't one of them. It wasn't a big deal.

Thank God. But I can say that in my life there is a before and after having a car accident.

You see things differently.

And in this time of Easter, and today in the Feast of Pentecost, maybe it is good to think

about the before and after the death of Jesus Christ, his resurrection,

his ascension into heaven, and the coming of the Holy Spirit.

It is all packed in a few days, right?

It is what we are celebrating right now.

And I think it is good to put ourselves in the shoes of the apostles.

And Peter, Mary Magdalene, St. John, and to think that for them too was a before and after.

And we wonder what changed, right?

Maybe it is good if we go to the gospel of today's Mass and just get into the

sin. And again, putting our imagination, you and I, like Peter, like John, Mary Magdalene, Andrew,

and the disciples in general, we were with Jesus for three years, following him, seeing

miracles, seeing his friendship, appreciating dinners with him, Passover, celebrations,

difficult moments, and then the culmination of his life in his passion, right, in this public punishment.

So imagine, no, but if you go through the gospel, you would be in shock seeing our Lord dying,
