It's time for another edition of Fighting for the Faith.

Today is Tuesday, October 28th.

Yeah, I promised you yesterday we have a very interesting show.

What's funny is I got most of the show prep for yesterday done today.

You know when I do this, the hard part is actually narrowing it down.

I've got a pile. It's a big pile and you have to wear really heavy duty boots.

Yeah, that mostly is a big pile.

Yeah.

All right, so today on fighting for the faith, we're going to be talking about the great

emergence. Apparently, the emergence is a great thing. And there's a new book out there by

the gal by the name of Phyllis Tickle and

she's an older woman and she's written a book called The Great Emergence and

we're going to listen to one of the audio from one of her YouTube videos where she's promoting the

you the great emergence and is claiming that this is a movement of God the emergent

and emergent emergent and emergent and emerging church movements.

And her logic defies logic.

That's all I can say at the moment, we'll get into it shortly.

And then today we're going to listen to just a little bit more of Paul Washer from the deeper conference and we're going to pit Paul Washer against Perinoble.

Now if you don't know who Perinoble is, Perinoble is the pastor of New Spring Church and he's another guy from the Carolinas.

And I should probably look that up, huh?
