So this week we are going to go a little differently than normal and talk about the event that just finished. Why don't you talk about where we are and what we did?

So we spent this weekend in Maryland at the Shapen Wolf Festival, and it's a big shindig, it's huge, big crowd on the fairgrounds, and lots of people, lots of animal, lots of vendors.

So it was very busy, the weather was very warm, and the animals were very interesting.

So let's start at the very beginning. We should start with Thursday, which is when our adventure really started.

The festival itself only runs Saturday and Sunday, but because it's a five hour flight, if you get a direct flight from California from San Jose to Maryland, it's pretty much going to take you all day to get where you're going.

So we decided to come in a couple of days early so that we could actually get to see Baltimore because we've actually never gotten to spend time in Baltimore. Have you?

No, I haven't.

So we did that. We flew in, we met up with after being on the plane all day, we were, we were met at the hotel by Jackie from Kipping It Real.

Shiloh from Spin Control, which is a fantastic new podcast, by the way, Megan from Stitcher and Tammy, who is a sparkly unravelry.

And we all met at the hotel, and we went out for dinner, and you know, it was just a nice evening.

And like I mentioned in the Rhineback Recap, podcasters like to talk.

Yes, I think we've been to each other's years.

And it was delightful because we sat down, and it was just such a nice time, and we were staying at a hotel with a bunch of folks who listened, and we got to hang out and knit in the evenings in the hotel lobby with a whole bunch of people, which was super fun.

But it was a pretty uneventful Thursday, and then Friday morning rolled around, and we had our itinerary.

We were going to go and see the town, and we were going to eat local food, and we were going to have the Baltimore experience. Do you want to talk about what we did on Friday?

So we started out by driving to the Edgar Allan Poe House.

And I like Edgar Allan Poe. Me too.

It was something that we did in our English lit class, and I remember being up late at night with my dictionary, reading the murders of the rumor.

Awesome. We very, very gruesome.
