Talk Radio and Talk TV. Good morning and welcome to the Independent Republic of Mike Graham right here on Talk TV. It is of course Monday morning. It is a bit chilly. There is a big freeze coming,

but hey, it is winter. After all, it's the middle of January.

These things do happen. I've got a few concerns this morning. Some of them I will be elucidating upon as the morning progresses. First of all, this. There was a drive-by shooting

in London at the weekend. Let me just explain that to you one more time. I believe it was

Saturday afternoon. There was a funeral taking place in an area of London called Euston, which is where an awful lot of people come by train

from various parts of the north of England to visit London and to go to points south, east, west

and north maybe even sometimes. But hey, here's the thing. The newspapers this morning are acting

as though it didn't

happen. There's a seven-year-old girl fighting for a life. There are several other people who

was shot by shotgun pellets being shot out of a car. It turns out that the connection to the

funeral is the Colombian drug cartel, known as the Cali cartel. A convicted member of that cartel was the father and the brother,

or the father and the husband of two of the women whose memorial service was going on.

We don't yet know precisely what happened. Somebody's been arrested so we can't get into the detail of what may have happened that day.
