The race is on, and McLaren has won the race to be the first to launch its 2020 Formula One car,

with the MCL 35M being revealed online on Monday. But just how new is it really, given the change of engine supplier,

and what should we expect from a team that's made huge strides in recent years? I'm at Straw and joining me to take a look at McLaren's

new car, a Gary Anderson and Scott Mitchell. Gary, we've got to come to you first, because you're

fuming at the moment. Yeah, I am a little bit. I mean, it was all advertisers being the launch of the new

McLaren Mercedes package, and basically it was all advertised as being the launch of the new McLaren Mercedes package

and basically it was a bit of a shindig.

You know, there was nothing to do with the car there, to be honest.

We saw very little of it.

The car wasn't actually there.

It was Silverstone.

You know, yeah, it's a bit disappointing because it's all about the team, the car and the drivers.

And that combination can get together.

And you can present quite a nice little detailed thing about your car and get the enthusiasm built up.

You know, I don't care whether Daniel Ricardo can place a tambourine or Landon Norris a triangle,

I want to see them involved with the car and, you know, James Key,

Andreas Siddell going around the car and talking about the thing because that's the tool

that they have to use this year. So yeah, disappointed with it, to be honest.

I actually enjoyed, I enjoyed his rapping skills a bit more when we had a conversation

with him a few hours before, sort of in anticipation of the launch.
