The unsealed affidavit and the Tepe double homicide reveals an investigation that move from two bodies discovered on a December morning to an arrest across state lines in just 11 days.

For investigators, this case has presented a puzzle spread across multiple states.

Surveillance footage from Columbus neighborhoods, vehicle track to Rockford, Illinois,

a firearm recovered, and a Chicago high rise in a suspect who allegedly went to significant lengths

to avoid detection, including using stolen license plates.

Jennifer Coffin-Daffer, retired FBI special agent, is here to help break all of this down.

And we're going to take a look at this from a couple different angles.

Let's start here with the affidavit that states investigators identified McKee's vehicle

through neighborhood surveillance footage, showing it arriving before and leaving after the estimated time of the murders.

And there's surveillance footage, too, that we're learning about that also shows that he showed up at the beginning of the month, too, around December 6 and was at the property. We don't know exactly what happened there yet, but it certainly is making a lot of people wonder, how long was this guy surveilling this woman. Jennifer, from your FBI experience,
