From Los Angeles, I'm Eddie Garcia. He's Doug Stolhan, and thanks for joining us for another edition of the Puck podcast. It is Sunday, October the 12th, 2025. This is our first period of a three-period podcast, the first period which some of you're watching on YouTube. We'll cover all the news from the past week in the NHL, including several big name players agreeing to new contracts, including that guy in Edmonton. Second period, we're going to recap all of the games from the opening week of the NHL or the opening first few days of the NHL. It was a weird schedule. We're going to give you some scores.
